The Chancenkarte, introduced in 2024, is a points-based residence permit that allows skilled individuals to come to Germany without a job offer, stay for up to 1 year, and search for employment. Once a job is secured, the residence permit can be converted into a Work Visa or EU Blue Card.

  • Bachelor’s degree (recognized or equivalent in Germany)

  • Proof of financial means (~€11,904) for 1 year stay
