Preparation Course

Your Gateway to German Public Universities
Germany offers world-class, tuition-free education at its public universities. But students from India and many other countries must complete a Preparation Course (Studienkolleg) before starting their Bachelor’s — and we’re here to guide you through every step.
What is Studienkolleg?
Studienkolleg is a 1-year academic foundation course required for international students whose school education (like 12th grade) doesn’t meet the direct entry criteria of German universities.
Germany considers 13 years of education necessary for university entry — Indian 12th-grade students have only 12. Studienkolleg bridges that gap and prepares you for German university-level studies.

Who Needs Studienkolleg?
You need to apply if:
-
You completed 12th grade (CBSE/State Board) in India
-
You want to study a Bachelor's degree at a public university in Germany
-
You do not qualify for direct admission (unless you’ve completed 1 year of college or JEE Advanced)
-
You’re willing to learn and study in German language
We’ll help you check if you need it or qualify for direct entry.
